Personal Introduction
I’ve been working with .NET since it was introduced in 2002 — both as a contract developer and as an instructor. I started out with Visual Basic.NET but quickly switched over to C#. It’s funny how I first started taking classes in C and C++ to help me understand all of the help files and code samples that seemed to come up whenever I needed something for my Visual Basic projects.I teach classes in three different areas: Programming (C#, Visual Basic, C++, Perl), Databases (SQL Server, Oracle, MS Access) and Microsoft Network Administration (MCSE). I am or have taught classes at Foothill College, Mission College, DeAnza College, Skyline College and Evergreen College.
I also own a small business where we manufacture a small promotional item, named Drink Mate, that you would use at a cocktail party. You need our product if you have ever been at a party where you were standing with a plate full of food in one hand and drink in the other. Check out our website to see how our product can solve this problem for you.
My other principal interests are traveling and photograpy. I also have a website with some of the photos that I’ve taken in various locations around the world.
I can be reached by Email at GotDotNet@lycos.com .
In case you were wondering, the mural in the site header image is located in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
